From the beginning to now, this is the story of how we met, where we’ve been, and what led us to this moment.

2020
In 2020, Coby & Caitlin met at a bar at Grand Valley State University—just weeks before the world shut down due to COVID. That spring, they both graduated together, marking the beginning of everything.
As the world reopened, Caitlin introduced Coby to Traverse City, a favorite place she visited with her family. It was also where she introduced him to wine—and a taste for the finer things in life.
2021
In 2021, Caitlin, Coby, and Hunter made the move to Chicago as Coby began medical sales college. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with Lake Shore Drive, the city’s food scene, and Saturday mornings at the farmers market.

2024
After several years in Chicago, Coby’s career took him (and Hunter) to New Orleans, beginning two years of long distance. It didn’t take long to realize that wasn’t how we wanted to start our next chapter—so in November, Coby proposed in Chicago, with Caitlin’s closest friends and family there to celebrate.
2026
And that brings us to today. Coby is back in Chicago, and in February, Caitlin, Coby, and Hunter closed on their home in Lincoln Park—just in time to begin this next chapter together.
